During two weekends, MET Group Technical finished the maintenance and current injection testing of the ACB, MCCB, and PFC in the LV switchgear at the Adidas sites. The shutdown was a collaborative effort with CBRE engineers, who conducted general LV panel maintenance and assisted with the AP on weekends.
The switchgear included breakers and tripping units from ABB and Schneider.
Sometimes we receive requests for ACB cleaning only, without including current injection testing, which increases the risk of the tripping unit failing in critical conditions.
For this specific project, a comprehensive service and injection testing was requested and completed, ensuring no detail was overlooked.
