Stay EAWR - HSR25 Compliant and Secure with MET Group

Regulation 4.4 EAWR: "As may be necessary to prevent danger, all systems shall be maintained so as to prevent, so far as is reasonably practicable, such danger "

The term reasonably practicable in the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 relates to the protection of people from harm. This means level of risk against the measures needed to control the risk in terms of money, time or trouble. however, you do not need to take action if it would be grossly disproportionate to the level of risk.

From MET Groups own data, 71% of a person of compliance & responsibility within a business believe they have regulation 4.1,2,3,4 of the EAWR covered with a standard fixed wire inspection being sufficient & with over 27% compliance managers forced to put production before the safety of people by agreeing to limitations on an electrical inspection.

As in any investigation or incident de-brief we have found the request for testing or maintenance documentation relating to the electrical asset is expected, either from ourselves or if an insurance claim is required by your insurance supplier. If this cannot be produced then compliance procedures may need to be revised to prevent legal exposure.

MET Group are leaders in providing innovative solutions to cover all of your electrical infrastructure, not just the fixed wiring preventing limitations across your electrical installation, while providing the highest level of robust safety measures in the industry.

We provide services to some of the largest companies in the UK & to companies where isolation & non-invasive is not an option to ensure you are fully compliant & not just unknowingly partly compliant.
